YOUR FIRST CLASS
First time Reviver? Great - we can't wait to meet you! Whether you are a long-time exerciser or just starting out, you will find that the Revive experience can be customized to fit your needs. Here is what you need to know for your first class.
Step 1: Find us
We are conveniently located in the heart of Bankview, on 14th Street next to Starbucks and Our Daily Brett. Free parking is available in the lot behind our studio, directly in front of our studio on 14th Street (except weekdays from 3:30-6) and on 24th Ave. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before class time and allow yourself time to park.
Step 2: Check in
Our friendly front desk team will get you checked in and set up with a MindBody account and a heart rate monitor to borrow. They'll give you a quick tour of the studio and show you where to store your bag, and introduce you to your Trainer to get you set up on our equipment.
Step 3: Equipment Orientation
Your trainer will spend the next 10 minutes with you to get you set up and feeling comfortable on our water rower and bike. Unlike a traditional spin bike, our Matrix IC7 bikes are programmed with your individual stats to calculate your Functional Threshold Wattrate (FTW) and to personalize the intensity of your workout.
Step 4: Get Sweaty
The signature Revive class is 55 minutes long and will typically include a mix of cardio segments on the bike and rower, and strength circuits using TRX, kettlebells, and free weights. Our Certified Personal Trainers will demonstrate proper form and technique of each exercise, and you will complete the circuits at your own pace and intensity level, with modifications provided as necessary to make sure you are working safely and effectively.
Step 5: Refresh
Every class ends with a 5-minute cool down and mobility session and cool towels. Your trainer will check in and give you a quick overview of your heart rate summary, which will also be sent by email. You are welcome to use our shower and thoughtfully designed locker rooms with complimentary towel service and hair dryer, or just grab a hot tea and head on your way feeling revived and refreshed.
What to Bring
Please bring a water bottle, clean indoor shoes, and gear to get sweaty in, and plan to arrive 30 minutes early to get registered and have your equipment orientation. We have towels, shampoo & conditioner, and hair dryers.
